Student handbooks and resources hub

This page provides easy access to important documents that support student learning, wellbeing, and school expectations. Families and students are encouraged to regularly refer to these resources throughout the year.

Student Handbooks

Our student handbooks support both new and returning families with clear information about school expectations, routines and student support services. A separate Year 7 handbook is provided to support students transitioning into high school and to highlight information specific to starting Year 7.

Student Leave Applications

To support student learning and ensure attendance records are managed correctly, parents and carers are asked to submit the appropriate leave application for any planned absence. Please refer to the information below to determine which application is required.

Application for Exemption from Attendance (Elite Arts, Sports or Entertainment Activities)

Application for Exemption from Attendance Form

This form is required when a student will be absent from school for up to 99 days due to participation in elite-level programs in the arts, sport or entertainment industry. Students involved in recognised state or national-level programs may qualify for this exemption.

If you are unsure whether an activity qualifies, please contact the school for clarification.

To apply, please complete the form and schedule a meeting with the Principal to ensure appropriate academic support can be provided.

Applications must be submitted at least two weeks in advance, with earlier submission encouraged where possible.

Application for Extended Leave – Travel

Application for Extended Leave Form

This form must be completed for absences related to travel, including holidays or paid sports, arts or entertainment programs (including snow sports).

Assessment Tasks During Leave

If your child will miss any assessment tasks while on approved leave, a Misadventure Form must be submitted at least one week prior to their absence.

We appreciate your support in following these procedures, which help ensure continuity in your child's learning. If you have any questions or require assistance with the application forms, please don't hesitate to contact the school.

Need Help?

If you are unable to locate a document or require further information, please contact the school office or email the school administration team.
