Jindabyne High School Shines at Subaru NSW State Interschools Snowsports Championships

From August 19-23, Jindabyne High School (JHS) students delivered outstanding performances at the Subaru NSW State Interschools Snowsports Championships held at Perisher. JHS secured an impressive 2nd place overall umong 29 co-educational schools in the Championship. Our talented athletes brought home a total of 8 team medals and 6 indvidual medals, a remarkable achievement for our school.

Reflecting on the event, Snowsports Coordinator Mr Livissianos said, “All the competitors at last week's State event did us and themselves proud! There were some tough competition days with the weather and the conditions, but they all did their best!"

Next week, from September 3-9, JHS will participate in the Australian National Interschools Championships at Perisher with 18 teams and 55 individual entries. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the parents and teachers who supported our students, especially Mr Livissianos your dedication made this event possible, and we are deeply grateful. 

Congratulations to all our participants for their fantastic efforts, and best of luck at the Nationals!
