Wellbeing
At our school, student wellbeing and academic success are deeply intertwined. We are committed to providing a holistic approach to education, ensuring that every student feels safe, valued, and empowered to engage fully in their learning and life journey. Whether your child requires support for their mental, emotional, social, or physical wellbeing, our dedicated and experienced Wellbeing Team is here to nurture their growth and help them flourish both within the school environment and beyond.
How we support student wellbeing
Supporting each student’s mental, emotional, social and physical wellbeing is part of everyday school life.
We do this through:
- Timetabled wellbeing lessons for students in years 7-11.
- Access to school counsellors, school psychologists and specialist staff.
- Targeted wellbeing programs that support health, social skills, attendance and positive behaviour.
- Whole cohort wellbeing days and camps to foster positive relationships and resilience.
- Supporting nationally recognised days dedicated to positive mental health and incorporating these key messages in every day interactions.
- Empower students to connect with external support services.
- Development of Individual Health Care Plans for students.
- Open communication and timely follow up on situations relating to wellbeing.
