The students left the show feeling invigorated and ready to tackle their own drama projects for assessment and their upcoming HSC examinations.
Our students also had the privilege of attending a stimulating workshop on monologues at the Belvoir Theatre. Here, they delved deep into the art of solo performance, refining their techniques and exploring new approaches to their craft.
Following this, the students spent a full day at the Australian Theatre for Young People in Sydney Harbour. Immersed in a creative environment, they honed their skills in both group devising and monologues, under the guidance of expert tutors well-versed in the intricacies of acting for theatre and film.
Throughout the excursion, our students impressed not only their tutors but also served as wonderful ambassadors for our school. Their energy, enthusiasm, and dedication were evident in every task they undertook.
Ms Worsley and Miss Moloney, their teachers and guides on this journey, expressed immense pride in the students' accomplishments. The invaluable experiences and lessons learned during this excursion not only broadened the student's horizons but also instilled in them a newfound confidence and passion for the performing arts.
